Founded in 1981 with 100% domestic capital, Canan Kozmetik began its journey with a clear promise: to offer high-quality, affordable hair care.

Entering the market with the İPEK brand, the company moved its production in 1993 to a 5,000 m² facility in Merter, where it consolidated all manufacturing operations. By delivering the same quality as premium brands at accessible prices, İPEK quickly became one of Turkey’s most beloved names and the leading brand in the affordable shampoo segment—thanks to its extensive product portfolio and its commitment to fulfilling consumer expectations.

Starting in 1998, Canan Kozmetik placed a strategic focus on research and development, expanding its product range beyond shampoo to include cost-effective and high-quality personal care items in response to evolving market needs. Under the İPEK brand, new products such as conditioners, hair gels, baby shampoos, soaps, shower gels, hand and body creams, lotions, and wet wipes were introduced. The product portfolio further expanded with the addition of PARMEX-branded nail polish remover.

To meet growing consumer demand, the company moved to a new, 20,000 m² high-tech production facility in Kıraç, Istanbul, in 2005. This transition marked a significant increase in production capacity, reaching 40,000 tons annually, all under modern and hygienic manufacturing conditions. Emphasizing environmental responsibility, Canan Kozmetik established Seda Plastik—an affiliated group company operating within the same facility—to ensure the use of recyclable materials across all plastic packaging.

In 2007, Canan Kozmetik’s success drew the attention of global cosmetics giant L'Oréal. Over the following 17 years, the company continued to operate with European production standards, supported by substantial investments in technology, quality control, environmental sustainability, and occupational safety.

At the end of 2024, Canan Kozmetik returned to its local roots with the acquisition of Dilek Group, one of the leading distributors of FMCG products. With 80,000 m² of storage space, a logistics fleet of over 1,000 vehicles and 1,400 employees, the company delivers to more than 75,000 retail points nationwide. With this strategic move, Canan Kozmetik has once again become an organization with 100% domestic capital.

Our facility, spanning 17,000 m² of indoor space on a 9,000 m² site, operates under the highest hygiene standards, utilizing contactless material transfer systems and adhering to a strict 100% microbiological safety protocol.

With an annual production capacity of 90,000 tons and equipped with high-speed filling units, the facility is capable of filling up to 133 million product units each year.

All raw materials and finished products undergo rigorous testing in our physiochemistry, microbiological, and packaging laboratories to ensure uncompromising quality and safety.
